Judith Marilyn Audet was born in Lindsay,
Ontario, where she spent her formative years. As a young teen
she moved to Toronto. Summers at the family cottage on
Balsam Lake
helped develop her love of nature and a summer working at Banff showed
her the splendor of the Rocky Mountains.

As a newlywed she
lived for a short time in a lumber camp in Northern Quebec and later
spent 4 months in Churchill, Manitoba, two very different regions of
Canada. Montreal became her home in 1968. Travelling several
times to the Orient further expanded her horizons.

In January 2002, her children
grown and retirement looming, Judith decided to explore the
possibility that she had some of her mother's artistic
talent and took a beginners class in oil painting. She found an
outlet for her talent. She has since studied oil painting under
several teachers, including Claude Charlebois and Giselle Rivard.

Moving to St. Lazare in 2007, has
given her the opportunity to join a select group of talented
painters and artists.

Judith's oil paintings show
versatility in the subjects she paints and the enjoyment of nature
she developed in the different areas of the world. She also does
stained glass.
