I have always enjoyed
working in a diversity of styles and with a variety subjects,
exploring painting techniques, always trying to find an appropriate
way of expressing the feeling that attracted me to a subject.
Frequent collaborations with interior designers and their clients
have resulted in published works within the pages of several
Canadian home decor magazines. A move into the graphic design arena
resulted in work for La Senza and companies such as Coty and Helene
Curtis. Commissioned work for greeting cards and home decor items
soon followed.

Ten years ago I explored
working with glass and silver, specifically making glass beads for
jewelry. Glass beads formed in the fire in my own studio from a spectrum
of beautiful colored glass rods manufactured in Venice. Each bead is
handmade, and assembled into wearable works of art. My time is now
balanced between painting and jewelry design.
