Sue Rhodes began drawing at an early age, and in 1980 she started taking courses using acrylics as her medium. In the early-90's she discovered her passion for painting animals, and signed up for workshops and seminars where she could develop her skills. In 2008 she discovered the medium of scratch art and began to dedicate herself to learning this art form. Sue's website includes a small sample of her scratchboard work.

Acrylics

The past year she has been studying oil painting, and although it is her medium of choice right now, she feels it does have a nice rich look when completed.  She also likes to dabble in colored pencils and pastels.
