Hello Administrators for the Hudson Artist’s Guild!
I am so happy to be home! For seven years my husband and I have travelled the world, and had our home base in Ontario. Last April we returned to the Hudson area, to my great joy! (there IS no place like home. Trust me 😉)
During this time, I developed my art; in India, Australia, South America and around the world. During the pandemic I created over three hundred pieces. I come back with a great hope to be a part of the Artist’s community of my home! I hope you will please accept my membership request. I am happy to show you any pieces of work that I have completed in the past few years.
I am mainly a pyrographical artist. I do portraiture and nature on wood. I use acrylic to enhance but tend to be a pyro-purist. My pieces are BEAUTIFUL and will add a new dimension to current exhibits.
In town, you may know me as a musician and songwriter. I also write and research (for my book on Canadian Adoption). I am all art – all the time. I have a studio for exhibition and teaching on Main Road in Rigaud. A good life. But I could use some friends in art. 😉
I hope you will consider my application,
With warm thanks,
Josee Brault
