Canadian graphic artist, painter, sketcher, typographer, calligrapher and teacher at Cégep John Abbott College in Montreal, Québec, Canada. I have a Masters degree in Education (Master Performa), and a BAC in Music and in Education.
After leaving behind my brushes and paints and working digitally (to keep up with the times) I have come back to my roots. I started watercolour painting in May 2012 and have fallen in love with the medium. I am mostly a rural-urban painter/sketcher.
I live in Rigaud, and my paintings reflect my environment. I have also found a fellowship of sketchers and friends thought impossible to find before. And slowly but surely, my skills are improving. I try to post three paintings a week on my blog: http://www.janehannah.com. I often link my paintings with music as it is an inherent part of my nature and also part of my education.
