Liliane est arrivée d'Europe in 1957. Le penchant qu'elle avait pour le dessin depuis son enfance s'est développeé en amour pour la peinture, surtout l'aquarelle. Presque autodidacte, elle a étudé sous la direction de Helmut Gerth, Steve Bloomer, Max Stieble de la banlieue Ouest. Elle a participé aux ateliers de Marge Brichler, Brigitte Schreyer et Jacques Hébert. Elle a aussi participé à plusieurs expositions de groups au Quebec et en Ontario.
Liliane came to Canada from Europe in 1957. Her childhood interest in drawing developed over the years into a serious pursuit of painting in the medium of watercolour. For the most part self-taught, she has studied under West Island artists Helmut Gerth, Steve Bloomer, Mary Cornell and Max Stieble and has also attended workshops with Marge Brichler, Brigitte Schreyer and Jacques Hebert. She has participated in numerous juried and non-juried exhibitions in Quebec and Ontario.
