​Barbara Prevost was born in Huntington, Quebec. She has loved to create and design all her life – saying that working with her hands is her passion.

About a decade ago, Barbara started painting – exploring different mediums ranging from water colours, to acrylics, collage, and for the last few years has been focusing on oils.

Barbara studied with Barbara Simmons for three years, working closely with her mentor to develop her techniques and broaden her range and comfort zone. A constant learner, Barbara also studied with Gail Descoeurs participating in workshops for over a year.

Painting is now a daily comfort, providing joy and tranquility for the soul.
