Marlene Luce Tremblay – Artiste photographe
Récipiendaire du 5e prix pour la photographie à la Biennale Internationale de Florence 2017
Tremblay est une artiste photographe qui, grâce à son œuvre et suite à de nombreux voyages au Moyen-Orient, offre une “archéologie” du monde arabe. Elle a entrepris cette démarche artistique en explorant l’Égypte et a exposé le résultat de ses découvertes tant au Canada qu’en Égypte, dans le cadre du 50e anniversaire de l’établissement des relations diplomatiques entre les deux pays. Tremblay a exposé à New York, à Paris, à Londres, à Tunis et à Alger.
Aujourd’hui, Tremblay vit à Montréal après avoir vécu à New York pendant huit ans alors qu’elle travaillait à l’ONU au bureau du porte-parole du Secrétaire général comme assistante à l’information. Elle poursuit ses activités artistiques alors que ses deux passions se rejoignent dans un projet original et fascinant de “rapprochement interculturel international” par le biais des arts visuels dans le cadre d’échanges culturels.
Tremblay a étudié au Dawson Institute of Photography à Montréal et a obtenu un Baccalauréat en sciences politiques à l’Université McGill.

Winner of the International Award “Lorenzo il Magnifico”, 5th Prize for Photography at the Florence Biennale 2017
Marlene Luce Tremblay is a photographer-artist who, as a result of extensive travels throughout the Middle East, was able to offer an artistic "archaeology" of the Arab world. She began this journey with explorations of Egypt and exhibited works both in Montreal and in Cairo, to celebrate the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Canada and Egypt. Throughout her career, Tremblay exhibited in Montreal, New York, Paris, London, Tunisia and Algiers.
Today, Tremblay lives in Montreal after living in New York for eight years while working at the United Nations in the Office of the Spokesperson for the Secretary-General as Information Assistant. She pursues her artistic activities while her two passions come together in an original and fascinating project of "international intercultural rapprochement" through visual arts in the context of cultural exchanges.
Tremblay studied photography at the Dawson Institute of Photography in Montreal and she is a McGill University graduate with a major in Political Science.
